What is Occasion Pros?
Occasion Pros is a one-stop site that is dedicated to helping you, our clients, to connect with top talent/professionals who can cater to the type of event that you want to achieve. All Occasion Pros are vetted and are very experienced in their field of expertise.

How do I register?
You can register as a client or professional for FREE by going to the “Register” tab and from there you will be asked to give some contact details.

What talents can I hire?
Our talents are categorized by specialties. We have listed the specialties when you go to the "Find Talent" tab on the menu bar of the site. You can access this certain list when you opt for "Search For Occasion Pros" as your search option. Choosing the other selection will lead you to answer a form to fill up for the event details you need to reserve a professional.

What are the payment methods you offer?
Our site uses Paypal as a third party payment processor to handle your bills to services you have availed.

Do you keep my card information for the purchase of your service?
No! The only time you will be required to provide your card details will be through our payment processor Paypal. Be assured that no information will be stored on our site, and we will never share or sell your information with anyone else.

What if I pay a vendor outside of the Occasion Pros website?
If you pay a vendor outside of the Occasion Pros platform, none of the funds that you have paid will be guaranteed. It is very important that you handle all transactions within the Occasion Pros website!

Can I cancel?
Yes, you may cancel your reservation or event with the professional; however, refunds for a canceled event will fall under these circumstances: 

- If you cancel within 24 hours of paying your reservation fee, 100% of the reservation fee will be refunded to you.

- If you cancel 3-6 months of your event date, Occasion Pros will be paid the reservation fee of $19.99, and the rest of any payments made will be credited for you to book another professional.

- If you cancel 1-2 months of your event date, 50% of the payments you have made will be credited to you, and 50% will be paid to Occasion Pros.

- If you opt to cancel within one month of the event, no monies will be refunded and no credits will be given.

Can the professional cancel?
Yes, the professional may cancel and Occasion Pros will refund all monies that have been paid as long as you have made all payments through the Occasion Pros platform.

What if my professional did not show up?
In the event full payment has been made by the client and the services has not been rendered by professional (i.e., No Show on event date), the client will receive a 100% refund or client has the option to apply the full amount to another future booking and/or services (as long as all payments have been made through Occasion Pros platform).

Do my credits expire?
Yes, credits expire six months after you have received the credit.

Can I change from a Client to a Professional?
Yes! You can shift from Client to a Professional account or handle both.

Can I change my Occasion Pro with another Occasion Pro?
Yes, but you will need to discuss the matter with ending the agreement with the original professional that you hired.

How can I contact you guys?
You can reach us by simply going to our “Contact Us” page located on our website. There you can also find our phone number and email address.

Can I hire multiple talents for my event from your site?
Definitely! You can build your event dream team using the Occasion Pros platform.

I forgot who I hired before do you have a means for me to see who I hired for my last event?
Once you are registered you will have an account history which can be found in “My Events”.

Do you have any social media that I can get in touch with?
Yes, at the bottom of the site you can click the social media icons for our available social media outlets that you intend to follow.

I had a breach of the account details that I used here on this site! Who can I talk to?
Definitely do reach out to us through our contact us page so the admins can look up and see necessary solutions for whatever incident that happened to your account.

Do you guys add additional fees for using this site?
Rest assured that we don’t charge our clients any additional fees for using the site to hire talents/ professionals. The only amount you need to pay is the reservation fee and whatever total fee you have agreed to with your chosen professional.

I cannot access my account what happened?
Please see if you have the correct login details. If you still cannot access your account do send us a message at our “Contact Us” page.

Can I stop my newsletter subscription from sending me emails?
Yes, you can have this feature turned off by accessing the unsubscribe link found at the bottom of every email that you receive from us. You can also request an email with the link should you have deleted your messages. Just send us a request through our contact us page.

Where can I update my email address?
When logged in click on your name at the top left corner of the website and a drop-down should show there with Account information listed. Click on that to update your email address or change the password if desired.

What are Pro Ads I am seeing here on the selection?
This feature is for professional member(s) who are willing to pay for their ads to be shown on our site.

How can I remove my profile image?
You can change/remove your profile image by going to “My Profile” under your name at the top right of the website.

My event location changed. What do I do?
Please contact your hired professional and discuss the changes in order to move forward with your event.

How safe is Paypal?
PayPal is safe when you use it to send money. Nothing is completely risk-free—glitches and data breaches are possible anywhere. Using PayPal might even be safer than giving your credit card number or bank account information directly to the website you're buying from.

Paypal won't accept my card. What do I do?
Please get in contact with Paypal in regards to how they can help you with regards to the card.
